Wood Species
Somerset Door and Column doors are constructed of only the finest quality materials in a wide choice of wood species including Northeastern White Pine, Red Oak, White Oak, Hard White Maple, Walnut, Poplar, African Mahogany, Accoya® Wood, Spanish Cedar, Cherry, White Ash and other materials.
Fabrication
These doors are fabricated with cope and stick construction using dowel pins and waterproof glue, stave core stiles and rails, and solid panels for stability and durability.
Thicknesses
Doors are manufactured in standard thicknesses of 1-3/8″, 1-3/4″, 2-1/4″ with custom thicknesses also available.
Locks and Hardware
Custom wood doors can be ordered pre-hung and pre-machined for cylindrical, mortise type and multi-point locks. Various locksets and hardware items are also available.
Glass
Glass choices include tempered, Low E, laminated, insulated, beveled, argon, lead caming, lead tape, custom leaded, patterned, etched, specialty and more.
